為喚起民眾對於防範一氧化碳中毒的重視，灌輸學生正確安裝燃氣熱水器及一氧化碳中毒防治的安全觀念，並充實文宣教材，內政部消防署特舉辦旨揭漫畫競賽，計有 194 份作品(國中組 98 份、高中組 96 份)經由地方消防局初評脫穎而出，後續將由內政部消防署評審委員會評選出得獎作品。
