澈底清除病媒蚊孳生源是防治登革熱最根本的方法，尤其是老舊眷舍、閒置土地及房舍，請務必落實經常巡檢，避免戶內外積水；清除積水，必要的容器倒置；容器減量，清除不要的器物；刷洗容器，避免蟲卵再附著。限水期間，儲水時應將容器加蓋，並應每週刷洗儲水容器 1 次，避免孳生病媒蚊。
